About Me

I'm not your typical software engineer. I didn't follow the traditional path — no computer science degree, no internships at big tech companies. Instead, I taught myself to code because I saw problems that needed solving and I wasn't willing to wait for someone else to fix them.
Growing up in Uganda, I watched as digital solutions transformed lives around the world while many of us were still stuck with outdated systems. That gap between what was possible and what was available drove me to learn programming, blockchain technology, and everything in between.
My journey has been unconventional — bootcamps, late-night coding sessions, building MVPs that sometimes failed spectacularly, and learning from every mistake. But that's exactly what makes me who I am: someone who builds not because it's easy, but because it's necessary.
Today, I'm not just writing code — I'm mentoring the next generation of builders, creating content that demystifies technology, and building tools that give creators real ownership over their work and future.
Why I Build
Ownership
I believe creators should own their tools, their content, and their future. Technology should empower, not exploit.
Access
Great technology shouldn't be limited to Silicon Valley. I build to make powerful tools accessible to everyone, everywhere.
Impact
Every line of code should solve a real problem. I'm not interested in building for the sake of building — I build for change.
What I'm Exploring
AI + Video Editing
The intersection of artificial intelligence and video creation fascinates me. I'm exploring how AI can make video editing more accessible to creators while maintaining their creative control and ownership.
Decentralization
Web3 isn't just about cryptocurrency — it's about redistributing power. I'm passionate about building decentralized systems that give creators and communities real ownership over their digital lives.
Education Technology
Through my work with Code Queen, I'm constantly exploring better ways to teach programming and technology. How can we make learning more engaging, practical, and accessible?
